Botox or “Tox” is in a class called neuromodulators—also in this class is Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau. These cause the underlying muscle to relax and this stops the formation of wrinkles and smooths lines. Using Botox before wrinkles have settled in, is a great way to “prejuvenate” and lessen the formation of wrinkles. Botox can also be used to “rejuvenate” a face with lines that have already “settled in”.

Fillers help to add volume to a face and iron out wrinkles that Botox cannot handle. Fillers are used to plump lips/cheeks, shape noses/chins/jawlines, smooth the décolleté and hands, and even sculpt the body. Ask about how we use fillers to repair stretched ear piercings and help you tolerate high heels without the pain!

ALL injectable services are performed by a plastic surgeon/MD. Your comfort is our priority and most patients are pleasantly surprised at how painless the procedures can be.
